work hard.. ... play much harder!!

hey all! its me! the other bug.. hey ya i discovered that i haven been in action and since there like only me and myself in the office i though that hey its the best time!

yeah, must say that it had been a busy time and infact about a month back it was rather overwhelming with work, lumos, friends , everybody seems to want a piece of me ( and its not always for good reasons) so yeah, i could pratically feel my energy and my health draining away ... everything just felt like an obligation... i dread responsiblity ... just want to run away from all...

But sometimes in life you simply dun have a choice, cause

great powers comes with great responsiblity ...
hey! i am not saying that i am spider(bug) man/woman .. haha... its just crappily came to my mind... * hey imagine that i am able to katcheezzzz from my palms...kinda cool ah auguest gonna be SO envy of me..

but now i am all right man! well not totally, but recovering from that season of overworking .. my life is slowly coming back in control ...now taking things at a slower pace... work hard.. ... play much harder!!

*katcheezzzz

disgusting!

i am totally disgusted with Singaporean parents! there's two groups of them: A) the totally Kiasu B) the totally Bo-Chup. just talking to both groups makes me want to vomit and then curl up and die.

when our Study Partner programme was formed, group A gets totally excited and starts sending DOZENS of their children and their neighbour's children and their neighbour's children's children and then totally dump their lil monsters at us. and they expect nothing short of excellent service from us. hello? you do know this is a FREE service? and dont you know? you pay peanuts, you get a monkey. group A expects their children to come for every session (which is gd of cuz) BUT when they do NOT have a class on that particular day, they'll still send those brats in. and like we dont have enough brats in our hands at that moment! time and time again i told group A, NO your child cant come to a class that he's not in because we have enough kids in that session and your precious have already gone for a class and it wont be fair to the others who have 1 session per week. and NO your child cannot CHOOSE to come when he wants to. And i really dont give a flying *toot* if your precious wants to watch Ultraman on Sat morning. His class in on Sat and I'm not changing my mind.

as for group B..... aaaaaarghhhh!!! totally irresponsible freaks! they join the programme but comes in once in a blue moon. when asked group B casually remarked that their elder child isnt sick therefore the rest of the children have the right not to go to class. WTF?!! my poor volunteers waited and waited for them. they came all the way from the east!! ohh and then there's those that let their precious come into class without books or a pen in their hand. hm? now tell me, how are the volunteers going to teach them? using the blood that's coming out from their mouths? hm? or from the blood i vomitted? hm? Hm? HMM???!

sigh. darn it all.

i never knew ...

while supporting my cousin and her band Audio Insanity, I've been kinda exposed to a few of our local bands and boy! am i surprised! singapore definitely has a fair share of great talents! i wish i wish i wish everyone would see how wonderful these bands are... but too bad , most of us here are much too engrossed with bands from those ang moh countries. well yea im sorry maybe it was only me... i never thought much about our bands. i guess there's just too much "bad" exposure of our "talents". i mean with groups like Chocolate Coated Candy, you know that all girl trio who won one of a talentime contest, or that boyband (cant remember their names) being featured as "local band" who the heck would be interested in the rest of the singapore bands?!

well truly sad cuz there are like really good ones out there! probably not much attention is given to them so they can't possibly promote themselves. maybe the media should do something about it huh? whatever happen to "Uniquely Singapore" ?

anyway i kept thinking about how wonderful this band is... they're called Lunarin. the lead singer is a girl! woohoo! i guess her voice isnt that super impressive but then it just fits into their songs, which by the way, is really nice if you're into bands like Tool etc. a bit creepy tho. i also think they're a bit like a darker version of Cranberries.

go take some time to listen!~ meanwhile i shall go find out a bit more about em hee yea i've got no life.
