Lilies have floated!

yesterday was Viriya's main event Lilies On the River, where someone thought of this funky idea of floating plastic $10-a-pc lilies on the murky eeky Singapore River. haa it was actually quite a nice sight!
for me it was surprisingly relaxing during the carnival itself. haa eating and kachuaing around! maybe cuz this year NL was in charge of stalls. we were more busy before (compiling stalls, preparations etc) and afterwards. i was running around trying to count the no of coupons+money collected when i noticed the stage ICs people already starting to relax. lucky lucky! but they did work super hard during the event (while i sit and watch). pretty good day overall.

my basketball kids were damn funny. their game stall was this badly looking basketball hoop thing made of cardboard boxes. haa thought it was quite good initially when me and a few kids made it. you should hear the coach's idea (flour+sweet inside= sweatdrop)! anyway business was quite slow at first and they actually had this idea of adding another game - Arm Wrestling. ha ha ha thought they were kidding but when i saw the coach Rhino (i think this is his nickname... erm it better be lor or else i seriously pity the dude) armwrestle with another dude i nearly flip! kids think of the darnest ideas! they did quite ok in the end and i'm quite proud of them! haa tho in the end they bugged me to treat them pizza (*loud ah beng voice* ok ah sister! earn $60 and above you buy us pizza ah! OK AH!)..
